Every morning a small, slim squirrel would visit our bird table, collect nuts and bury them in places in the garden. In the afternoon a chubbier squirrel would wander around at his leisure dig up the nuts and eat them. We always made sure there was plenty on the table for the busy one but did feel sorry that all his hard work was wasted. I drew the busy squirrel some time ago, this drawing is of the chubby, laid back one.
The Original was drawn with coloured pencils on pastelmat.
